Local Trains

Commuter trains for the areas around Montreal are operated by the Agence Métropolitaine de Transport (AMT). This network currently has five lines reaching to Greater Montreal's towns and outer suburbs. There is a sixth line under construction heading northeast from the city and terminating in Mascouche. This is due to begin service in 2014.

The AMT network links up with the STM Metro and bus network at several stations, and also has many stations with park and ride lots. The OPUS card system is also used on the AMT train network.
