Furniture, Hardware, Grocery and Appliance Shopping in Canada

Find out about the Canadian chain stores that supply the basic furniture, home furnishings, white goods, electrical appliances and DIY for your home...

In Canada, shops opening hours are regulated by individual provinces and territories, and in some areas by local municipalities. For example, in British Columbia and Alberta, stores can stay open all day all year round; in other provinces such as Ontario and Québec stores must close on major holidays.

Few stores are open 24/7, and in general most shopping centres and large stores are open from approximately 09:00 or 10:00 until 22:00.
